ReyaOS

A small x86-64 operating system written in Rust, with its own bootloaders, from the first boot sector to a system that updates itself over the network.

! experimental: install <disk> erases the entire disk, including other operating systems. Only install onto a disk you can afford to lose.

# getting started

  1. Put the ISO on a Ventoy stick, or write it to a USB stick with balenaEtcher, dd or Rufus in DD mode (this erases the stick).
  2. Boot from it, BIOS or UEFI. Secure Boot may need to be off, and the disk controller must run in AHCI mode.
  3. List the disks, then install onto one after typing its name to confirm: 
    /> disks
/> install ahci0
